Founder & Managing Director – NaviRex
Dr. Harikrishnan Anjaly Sukumaran Nair, PhD
Dr. Harikrishnan Nair is a cross-disciplinary entrepreneur with a PhD in Biology and a background in engineering. With over seven years of experience in Germany’s science and technology sector, he has worked across India, Sweden, Singapore, and Germany in fields spanning sustainable research, product development, regulatory compliance (EU MDR/FDA), and startup innovation in biotech and cleantech.
He moved to Germany in 2016 to advance innovation in metabolomics and drug discovery. In 2024, he founded NaviRex GmbH to address the growing disconnect between Europe’s solar equipment surplus and India’s rural energy needs. Leveraging his deep understanding of EU regulatory structures and his family’s EPC business in Kerala, he built NaviRex as a scalable platform for circular solar deployment and carbon monetization.
Dr. Nair’s core strengths include navigating complex compliance regimes, building cross-border partnerships, and translating sustainability concepts into executable infrastructure. Under his leadership, NaviRex contributes directly to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), the EU Green Deal, and the global shift toward circular climate economies. He is also the founder of several community initiatives, including the Hamburg Indian Association e.V.
